Ukraine's inflation rate edged up 1.1 percent in September
October 07, 2008 at 16:04 | Ukrainian NewsIn September, food and soft drinks prices increased by 0.3 percent, public and housing utilities costs grew by nearly four percent, health care services prices rose a percentage point and transport cost fell by 1.1 percent.
For the firstnine months of 2008, the nation's inflation rate stands at 16.1 percent.
In June, Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers adjusted their annual inflation rate forecast from 9.6 percent to 15.3 percent.
