Thus, the Verkhovna Rada decided to reveal the reasons and uncover the persons guilty of the protractions with the investigation into the relevant criminal case.

The commission is formed of 11 Verkhovna Rada deputies.

The commission's chairman is Volodymyr Syvkovych of the Party of Regions faction, and his deputy is Spiridon Kilinkarov of the Communist Party faction.

Apart from them, the commission includes Yevhen Dobriak, Valerii Kamchatnyi, Oleh Babaev of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction; Hennadii Samofalov, Nestor Shufrych, Olena Lukash of the Party of Regions; Oleksandr Omelchenko, Hennadii Moskal of the Our Ukraine People's Self-Defense Bloc faction; and Ihor Holovchenko of the Lytvyn Bloc faction.

The commission was created for a period of a year and its report will be heard by the Verkhovna Rada on September 30.
