Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has called for a ban on tobacco and low-alcohol drinks advertising.

"I think it's high time to bring order to this sector and ban tobacco and low-alcohol drinks advertising on all these [billboards]. We need to make this advertising disappear altogether!" Tymoshenko said at a meeting of the government in Kyiv on Thursday.

At the same time, speaking about increasing excise duty on beer, Tymoshenko said that Ukraine "has not increased the excise on this kind of drinks for many years, therefore all of the money received will go to the development of Ukraine's youths."
