Kyiv, May 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Verkhovna Rada is planning to consider the anti-crisis program of the government on Thursday, June 4, Parliamentary Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said.

Lytvyn said that only some of the factions want this document to be considered. However, after the statements by the Ukrainian prime minister that the document is lying in the parliament and the Verkhovna Rada is not reacting, they had to put it onto the agenda, he added.

The speaker reminded that the Party of Regions submitted its proposals to the document and that they were taken into account.

"You certainly understand that as opinions on this document in the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense faction differ and as the communists will not vote and the Region Party members will not vote as a matter of principle, there will could be lack of votes," Lytvyn stressed.

"If the program is not passed this will allow speaking that the government lacks support and trust," the speaker said.

Lytvyn said that this issue should be tackled very carefully, not to create additional strain.
