Tymoshenko says she has yet to train for football match between Ukrainian, Polish governments
Jul 10, 2009 at 18:05 | Interfax-Ukraine"I'm still in training… I still have to train a bit to be worthy of representing Ukraine," she said, when asked whether the match, which was earlier announced by Ukrainian Vice Premier for European Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria, would actually take place.
Tymoshenko expressed confidence that such an event would be held.
"I'm sure such a match will be held," she said.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk also expressed readiness to participate in the match.
"We're ready to play this match at any time, but I have only one condition - Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko should be the captain of the Ukrainian team," he said.
