When speaking at the third meeting of Ukraine-Poland committee for Euro 2012 preparations in Kyiv, President of the Ukrainian Football Federation, Hryhoriy Surkis, demanded that Polish officials stop publicly questioning Ukraine's ability to prepare in time to co-host the European Football Championship in 2012.

"We've never questioned Poland's ability to get properly prepared for the tournament, and I'm asking for even respect to the Ukrainian side," Surkis said.

The Football Federation President stressed herewith that both countries' officials have to observe information discipline.

He noted, it was necessary to work out a common coordinated information policy regarding the Euro 2012 preparations.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine and Poland have plans to ask the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) to preserve the number of cities originally set aside to co-host the Euro 2012 games, 4 cities in each country.
