Kyiv, August 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko will meet delegates of the U.S. Congress at 1000 on Friday, August 7, the presidential press service has reported.

The participants in the meeting will focus on the strengthening of Ukraine's energy security, the realization of Ukraine's plans to join NATO, as well as measures on tackling the financial and economic crisis, including the development of Ukraine's cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.

House Republican Leader John Boehner is heading the U.S. delegation. The delegation also includes Congressmen Dan Boren, Jo Bonner, Dave Camp, Tom Latham, and Greg Walden.
