You're reading: Rada increases minimum wage from Hr 669 to Hr 922 per month for 2010

From January 1, 2010, the Verkhovna Rada fixed the minimum wage (which is now UAH 669 per month) at the level of UAH 869, at UAH 884 from April 1, 2010; UAH 888 from July 1, 2010; UAH 907 from October 1, 2010; and at the level of UAH 922 per month from December 1, 2010.

A total of 254 of required 226 deputies backed the bill No.4762 authored by Verkhovna Rada deputy of the Lytvyn Bloc faction Oleh Zarubinskyi.

This document also envisions the increase of the living wage up to UAH 825 from January 1, 2010; to UAH 839 from April 1, to UAH 843 from July 1, UAH 861 from October 1, and to UAH 875 per month from December 1, 2010.

The subsistence wage for children under six years old was increased to UAH 755 from January 1, 2010; UAH 767 from April 1, UAH 771 from July 1, UAH 787 from October 1; and to UAH 799 from December 1, 2010.

The subsistence wage for children from six to eighteen years old was increased to UAH 901 from January 1, 2010; UAH 917 from April 1, UAH 921 from July 1, UAH 941 from October 1; and to UAH 957 from December 1, 2010.

The subsistence wage for able-bodied people was increased to UAH 869 from January 1, 2010; UAH 884 from April 1, UAH 888 from July 1, UAH 907 from October 1; and to UAH 922 from December 1, 2010.

The subsistence wage for disabled people was increased to UAH 695 from January 1, 2010; UAH 706 from April 1, UAH 709 from July 1, UAH 723 from October 1; and to UAH 734 from December 1, 2010.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on October 6, the Verkhovna Rada endorsed the bill No.4762 in the first reading.
