President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay a visit to Ukraine in November, reads a report made by the press service of the ministry of foreign affairs.

First deputy minister of foreign affairs, Kostiantyn Yeliseev, and Belarusian Ambassador to Ukraine, Valentin Velichko, met to discuss arrangements of Lukashenko’s official visit to Ukraine, scheduled for the first half of November.

Also the parties discussed interaction in the transport-and-energy sector and directions of cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership initiative.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Petro Poroshenko, the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine, paid a one-day working visit to Belarus on October 19 to meet local executives.
