Seventy people, among them three children and two pregnant women, have died of flu and respiratory diseases in Ukraine, the health ministry has confirmed.
Thirty people died of flu in Lviv region as of 1700 on Monday, 16 in Ternopol region, 12 in Ivano-Frankivsk region, five in Chernivtsi region and two each in Volyn, Zakarpattia and Rivne regions. One patient died of flu in Khmelnytsky region, the health ministry’s press service said.
