The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has called on the leaders of television and radio companies to cover the epidemiological situation in the country with civic responsibility, as the number of misleading reports being made on this issue has grown, the council's press service has said.

"With the goal of guaranteeing the information security of citizens and preventing any signs of panic, the television and radio organizations of all forms of ownership were recommended to follow Article 59 on television and radio broadcasting and Article 47 on information while covering issues linked to flu diseases and other viral infections, and to use only official information and statistics," reads the statement.
