The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated Hr 10 million for the construction of housing for earlier deported Crimean Tatars, according to Acting Finance Minister Ihor Umanskyi.

He said that the stabilization fund of the state budget for 2009 became the source for the relevant amount via the redistribution of funds. The money was allocated to the Council of Ministers of Crimea.
As it was reported earlier, in July 2008, the Sevastopol city state administration intended to construct a nine-floor multi-apartment residential house for Tatars. In November 2007, the Council of Ministers of Crimea approved the foundation of the Interagency commission for the consideration of issues and proposals regarding the accommodation of Crimean Tatars.
