Belarusian president heads to Kyiv for talks with Ukrainian leadership

Minsk, November 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko left on Wednesday night on an official visit to Ukraine.

"During the visit the Belarusian president will hold talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yushchenko and meet with other Ukrainian officials," Belarusian president's spokesman Pavel Legky said.

The two presidents will discuss a wide range of issues of the Belarusian-Ukrainian cooperation and are to sign a package of documents aimed at extending the bilateral relations, the spokesman said.
