The Ukrainian government will raise the salaries of teachers, doctors and cultural workers after the financial crisis is over in Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said at a meeting on anti-epidemic measures in Lviv on Wednesday.

"The crisis is nearing completion. We have the health care sector, we have the education sector, and the first who will get an increase in salaries are these two sectors, and of course, the cultural sector..." she said.

According to the premier, a stabilization trend is presently seen in "some sectors."
