The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is checking reports of the seizure of a Greek vessel, the Delvina, with seven Ukrainian crewmembers onboard.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service reported this on Thursday.

The media earlier reported, referring to the European Union Naval Force (NAVFOR) mission, that the Greek dry cargo ship Delvina was hijacked on Thursday morning by pirates in the Gulf of Aden. The ship was carrying a cargo of wheat and a crew of 14 Filipinos and seven Ukrainians.
