Experts from the World Health Organization have asked Ukrainian medical employees to report any positive experiences they obtained during the fight against the A/H1N1 flu outbreak.

The representatives of the World Health Organization during their visit to Ukraine discussed these issues with the main freelance experts of the Health Ministry, the press service of the ministry reported on Nov. 11.

The use of artificial lung ventilation devices in certain clinical cases and the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics to treat bacterial, viral and other types of pneumonia were considered at the meeting.

Moreover, it is planned to discuss and adopt amendments to treatment procedures so as to make use of the experience of Ukraine’s western regions in future outbreaks.
