The Ukrainian parliament has returned the draft state budget for 2010 to the government for revision.

A total of 241 MPs out of the 433 registered in the session hall voted for the decision on Nov. 20.

The parliament gave the budget committee two days to submit generalized remarks and proposals on the document to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The government should review the bill within two weeks, taking into account proposals from the budget committee and MPs and then table it in parliament for consideration.

We remind that IMF stated today it expects consensus from Ukraine on budget position.
