A patient suspected of suffering from pneumonia arrives at a hospital in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, on Nov. 3. The Ukrainian Education Ministry said this on Friday.

"Most Ukrainian educational establishments will resume work. As an exception, on the prescription of local sanitary and epidemiological stations and in compliance with decisions of local authorities, the start of the educational process may be put off," the statement reads.

The institutions of higher learning in Kyiv will resume work on Wednesday, November 25.
