Cabinet equalizes pensions of ambassadors with pension of

The Cabinet of Ministers has equalized the pensions of Ukrainian ambassadors and Ukraine's representatives in international organizations with the pension of a deputy foreign affairs minister.



This is stated in the governmental resolution No. 1367 of November 18.

The Cabinet of Ministers made the relevant changes to the supplement to its directive No. 499 of September 9, 1997.

Previously, the pensions of Ukrainian ambassadors and Ukraine's representatives in international organizations were equal to the pensions of directors of department at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Foreign Affairs Minister Petro Poroshenko is initiating increase of the Foreign Affairs Ministry's expenditures toHr 15 million in the 2010 state budget.
