Ukraine banned the import of cattle, wild ruminant animals and their meat from Israel, Tunisia, and Morocco on Nov. 26.

The ban was imposed following an official statement by the International Epizootic Bureau on the outbreaks of bluetongue disease registered in these countries, the Ukrainian State Committee of Veterinary Medicine reported on Nov. 26.

Ukraine also banned the import of poultry, poultry raw materials and products from Cote d'Ivoire due to an outbreak of high pathogenic bird flu there.
