A total of 424 people have died of flu and flu-like illnesses in Ukraine as of late on Sunday, Nov. 29.

Two people have died of flu and its complications (pneumonia) over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry reported.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, nearly 1.811 million people have contracted flu and respiratory infections, including 8,130 people over the past 24 hours.

A total of 109,743 people have been hospitalized since the start of the epidemic (October 29), including 1,370 over the past 24 hours. Of those hospitalized, 84,788 people have been discharged from hospitals.

The epidemic threshold was exceeded in Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Lviv, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv regions, and the city of Kyiv.
