Yanukovych: 2010 budget to be approved February-March 2010
Dec 2, 2009 at 14:07 | Interfax-Ukraine"I'm sure the Ukrainian national budget is unlikely to be approved this year... Probably, we might have it in March or February," he said speaking live on Chernihiv regional television and radio company on Dec. 1.
Yanukovych said the national budget was the basis for an efficient economy. He added that current government led by Premier Yulia Tymoshenko is incapable of handling the economy efficiently.
"This means that the government cannot offer a realistic budget, which could formulate a fair attitude of the state to industry, the regions, and could motivate businesses, enterprises to let the Ukrainian economy grow," he said.
Yanukovych also emphasized that the fact that there is no budget for the next year will affect both the country's economy and ordinary people.
