Ukraine bans poultry imports from Spain
Dec 2, 2009 at 18:37 | Interfax-UkraineThe ban was imposed following an official statement by the International Epizootic Bureau on outbreaks of Newcastle disease registered in Spain, the Ukrainian State Committee of Veterinary Medicine reported on Wednesday.
Newcastle disease is a highly contagious viral disease affecting domestic poultry, cage and aviary birds, and wild birds.
