You're reading: Naftogaz vows to meet all commitments to consumers

Ukraine's state gas company Naftogaz will meet all of its commitments to the consumers of natural gas and the workers of gas supply facilities after state gas pipelines are returned to Naftogaz Merezhi, the state operator of gas networks, the company said in a statement distributed by its press service late on Dec. 2.

The company said that the transfer of gas networks, which is being conducted in line with the current law, would help Naftogaz bring its work on the domestic gas market to a fundamentally new European level.

Naftogaz guarantees the observance of labor rights, the retention of the level of wages and the creation of conditions for a further rise in wages.

Naftogaz also said that there is currently no threat to holding the heating season in Ukraine.
