According to the latest Health Ministry briefing, 2,103,542 Ukrainians have come down with flu-related illness since Oct. 29. Some 468 patients have died, the report says, which says the epidemiological threshold is currently exceeded in five oblasts.
Ukrainian and World Health Organization officials have warned of a second and third wave of the flu epidemic starting in late December and early next year.
