Wizz Air, whose plane used for flight #930 from Treviso (Venice) to Kyiv passed the end of the tarmac before coming to a full stop due to ice and snow when landing at Boryspil Airport onDec. 29night, has leased an additional aircraft to avoid the disruption of flights.

The company told Interfax-Ukraine that at present the company is signing an agreement on leasing an Airbus 320, which was to arrive to Kyiv on Dec. 31.

A commission which includes representatives of the State Aviation Administration, Wizz Air and Airbus, is investigating theDec. 29night incident.

As reported, Wizz Air's flight WU-930 from Treviso (Venice) to Kyiv passed the end of the tarmac before coming to a full stop due to ice and snow when landing at Boryspil Airport on Tuesday night at 2337. All of 153 passengers and the crew left the airplane under their own power.
