Renovations of the Izov and Ludyn railway stations at the Ukrainian-Polish border (Volyn province) have been completed as part of the preparations for the European Football Championship Euro-2012, the press service of Lviv railway reported on Thursday.

Renovations of the Izov and Ludyn railway stations at the Ukrainian-Polish border (Volyn province) have been completed as part of the preparations for the European Football Championship Euro-2012, the press service of Lviv railway reported on Thursday.

A complex to satisfy all requirements of passengers' comfort has been built at the small Izov border station, which is expected see a large volume of traffic during the period of the Championship.

The Ludyn border station was provided with computers and equipment to prevent unauthorized persons from entering Ukraine, in the framework of the national border station network.

The renovations lasted for more than two years, and used funds of some UAH 17 million.
