Out-of-season-thunderstorm strikes Zaporizhia, but winter chill on the way

According to the Zaporizhia branch of the Ukrainian Weather Center, a cold snap is expected to hit the city, as well as most areas of central and eastern Ukraine, in the next 24 hours. Temperatures as high as +6-7шC were recorded in Zaporizhia on Saturday, but in the early hours of Sunday, temperatures will drop well below freezing. Cold temperatures and snow are expected in the next few days.
Daytime temperatures in Kyiv on Sunday and Monday are expected to be around minus 15 C.
