Ukraine and Macedonia sign agreement on free visa regime for some categories of citizens
Feb 9, 2010 at 17:09 | Interfax-UkraineA meeting of foreign ministers of Ukraine and Macedonia took place on February 6 as part of the 46th Munich Security Conference, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.
The heads of the foreign policy departments of both countries signed an agreement between their governments on the terms for mutual trips by citizens, the regulations of which foresee a visa-free regime for some categories of citizens.
The sides also discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular in the political, trade and economic, military and technical and Euro-integration spheres.
The sides paid special attention to a future official visit of Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski to Ukraine and a working visit of Ukraine's foreign minister to Macedonia.
Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki repeated an invitation to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko to visit Macedonia in early March of the current year.
