You're reading: Ukraine and Poland agree on cooperation in tourism

Poland and Ukraine have signed a joint memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of tourism.

A ceremony to mark the signing of the memorandum on cooperation between the Polish Tourist Organization and the National Tourist Office of Ukraine was held on Thursday in Kyiv.

The memorandum was signed by President of Polish Tourist Organization Rafal Szmytke and Director of the Ukrainian National Tourist Office Andriy Pomoz.

The signing of the memorandum will promote the strengthening of positive trends in Polish-Ukrainian relations, including in the scope of preparations for hosting the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, as well as popularization of natural and historical and cultural potential of the both countries, the officials at the ceremony said.
