Ukraine's Foreign Ministry hopes to sign a roadmap on visa-free travel with the European Union in the first half of 2010, its chief said on Feb. 15.

"I can say that we have persuaded most eurosceptics that Ukraine needs this roadmap. Today, I believe that this roadmap will be signed in the first half of this year," Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko said at a briefing.

The minister suggested that the relevant documents could be signed during the first visits of the country’s new leadership to Brussels.
