Ukraine and Oman are planning soon to sign an agreement on a visa-free regime of travel for official delegations, according to a statement posted on the official Web site of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Feb. 22.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko and Secretary General of the Omani Foreign Ministry Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi held a meeting during a Ukrainian delegation’s visit to Oman on February 21, reads the statement.

"The sides discussed the simplification of the visa regime between the two countries. They agreed to sign an agreement soon on visa-free trips by official delegations. The Ukrainian side [also] handed over its draft of an agreement on a visa-free regime of travel for citizens," the ministry said.
