Foreign ministers of Ukraine and Turkey discuss incident in Ukrainian Consulate General in Istanbul

The sides also discussed the consequences of the earthquake in eastern Turkey on Mar. 8, as a result of which dozens of people were killed.
"Poroshenko assured that Ukraine is ready to render needed assistance in combating the consequences of this terrible tragedy," the ministry's press service reported.
As reported, a Turkish man armed with a pistol broke into the territory of the Ukrainian Consulate General in Istanbul on Tuesday and fired several shots at diplomatic mission employees. The consulate's security guard returned fire at the assailant. According to mass media, the attacker later died in hospital of his wounds.
