Justice Ministry: ministry's legal services personnel don't have enough qualifications
Mar 17, 2010 at 14:11 | Interfax-UkraineA quality analysis of the activity of central agencies of the executive branch showed that the percentage of agreed normative and legal documents drafted by the Justice Ministry without remarks totaled only 30% in 2009, the ministry press service reported with a reference to Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych.
According to the press service, the Justice Ministry approved about 65% of the drafts with remarks, while 5% were not even in line with the constitution or current legislation.
In connection with this the Justice Ministry plans to carry out a number of measures aimed at raising the professional level of legal services. In particular, it is planned to render methodological and consultative assistance, the press service reported.
