Yanukovych to visit US in April, says foreign minister

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will visit the United States in April 2010.

Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko gave the information on the Inter TV channel late on Friday.

"We plan the nearest [visit] in the middle of April or earlier. Maybe, this would be not the last visit. The main thing is not in the visit or its date, but in its purpose. We're working to prepare a fruitful, serious and long-playing visit," Hryschenko said.
