Cabinet continues reshuffling posts

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Serhii Chekh and Volodymyr Makukha to the posts of first deputy ministers for fuel and energy and Mykyta Konstantynov

to the post of deputy minister for fuel and energy.

Oleksandr Kolodii, the press secretary for the Fuel and Energy Ministry, told this to Ukrainian News.

Before, Volodymyr Makukha was deputy minister of fuel and energy, and before this he had headed the ministry of economy.

Serhii Chekh has been previously commercial director of the Kyivenerho Company.

Mykyta Konstantynov has been director for advanced development and investments at the Kyivenerho Company; and before this, from November 2007 to April 2008, he had been First Vice-President of national nuclear energy generating company Enerhoatom.

According to a statement by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the government has dismissed Oleh Buhaiov from the post of the first deputy minister for fuel and energy and Serhii Pavlusha from the post of deputy minister for fuel and energy.

The statement reads that the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Serhii Pavlusha on the ground of his letter of resignation.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on March 11 appointed members of the fresh Cabinet of Ministers, including Fuel and Energy Minister Yurii Boiko.
