Ukraine's Prime Minister Mykola Azarov held a meeting with Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Kyiv.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu in Kyiv on Wednesday.

The sides discussed a wide range of bilateral relations between the countries and outlined prospects for their development.

Azarov noted that both countries have great potential for cooperation in investment activity, the transit sphere, space, construction and energy sectors, among others.

"Ukraine and Turkey are promising partners in the energy sphere. We are ready to start a dialog in this direction," the prime minister said.

The premier also noted that the Ukrainian state is ready to share its experience in the construction and operation of nuclear power stations.

According to Azarov, Ukraine and Turkey can effectively cooperate in the aerospace sphere as well.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in turn said the Turkish Republic is seeking comprehensive cooperation with Ukraine.

"We are ready for any cooperation with Ukraine, there are no limits here. We want to develop relations in the economy, politics and culture, as it is impossible to have excellent political relations without proper economic and cultural ones."

He added that the cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey is based on rather firm foundations.
