Ukraine remains EU-bound, says Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko has said that integration into Europe has been and remains the priority of domestic and foreign policy of Ukraine.

The minister said this while opening the Europe Day in Kyiv on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

"I would like to say today that Ukraine adheres to clearly defined plans of integrating into the European space and complying with European principles of democracy, socially oriented market economy, provision of human rights. We will not leave this path. The government is determined to take concrete steps to ensure the progress of our state on the path to the EU, holding reforms that would bring the life of Ukrainians closer to the EU standards," Hryschenko said.
