The National Ecological Centre of Ukraine and other prominent environmental groups have turned to the heads of UEFA and organizing committee for EURO 2012. They call on them to take measures to stop the destruction of Kharkiv’s Gorky Park and the mass beating of Kharkiv residents endeavouring through peaceful protest to protect the park.
