The Ukrainian government will not hold negotiations with Switzerland-registered gas trader RosUkrEnergo pending completion of an expert review of the Stockholm arbitration ruling, the Fuel and Energy Ministry said, citing the head of the ministry, Yuriy Boiko.

"The Stockholm arbitration ruling on the return of 11 billion cubic meters of gas to RosUkrEnergo requires detailed study and legal review in the Cabinet," the statement says.

No offers for a payment postponement or an out-of-court settlement have been received from RosUkrEnergo, it says.

It was reported earlier that in a June 8 ruling, Stockholm arbitration court ordered Ukrainian national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy to return 11 billion cubic meters of gas to RosUkrEnergo.
