Practically all the state property put under the management of Ukraine's State Committee for State Material Reserves has been stolen, the head of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) said on Friday.

In a joint investigation, the SBU and Audit Department found that property worth more than Hr 7 billion had been stolen from the committee, SBU chief Valeriy Khoroshkovsky told a briefing in Kyiv.

He said the committee’s officials had been involved in the alleged theft and that two persons had come under prosecution and one of them had been arrested.
