Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said he hopes that Ukraine and Sri Lanka will soon sign an agreement on the promotion and protection of investments, as well as other bilateral economic agreements.

"I hope that in the near future the sides will agree and sign an agreement on the promotion and mutual protection of investments," he said at a business forum in Kyiv on Wednesday on the occasion of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s visit to Ukraine.
