Kyiv, July 10 – Regions Party faction leader Oleksandr Yefremov has said he does not rule out that the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, will adopt a law on a Ukrainian referendum this autumn.

He announced this in an interview with reporters in Kyiv on Saturday.

Asked whether the consideration of the law could be postponed until this autumn, Yefremov said: "I do not exclude such an option."

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that the lawmaker had also confirmed that the leaders of coalition factions were currently holding talks on this issue.
