Government to buy 7 buses for each city hosting Euro 2012
Jul 22, 2010 at 16:07 | Interfax-UkraineThis is stipulated in decree No. 593, dated July 14, 2010, amending the state program of preparation for holding Euro 2012 the European Football Championship in Ukraine, which was published in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper on Thursday.
According to the decree, Hr 25 million will be allocated for each city (Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv) from the national budget.
The government also decided to renovate on terms of financial leasing 985 buses and trolley-buses (earlier the program envisaged renovation of 985 trolley-buses) without increasing the total sum of purchase – Hr 996.41 million (including over Hr 462 million from the national budget, and Hr 533.38 million from local budgets).
In 2010 the government also plans to renovate 680 buses and trolley-buses and allocate Hr 231.76 million for this purpose, in particular, 300 units for Kyiv (assumed financing equals Hr 88 million), 70 units for Donetsk (for Hr 32 million), 60 units for Lviv (for Hr 58 million) and 250 units for Kharkiv (Hr 53.76 million). Financing will be carried out on principles of parity from the national and local budgets.
