The Ukrainian government at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday plans to consider a draft law on measures for the commercial registration of natural gas consumption, which foresees the start of the installation of gas meters in houses and apartment where gas is consumed for various purposes, including to heat apartments, from Oct. 1, 2011.
"The government will also consider a draft law on ensuring the commercial registration of natural gas consumption," Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov said when opening the cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
He said that the draft law foresees the installation of gas meters in houses and apartments from Oct. 1, 2011 and measures to stimulate meter installation.
