Ukraine's ambassador to Kuwait appointed

President Viktor Yanukovych of Ukraine has appointed Volodymyr Tolkach Ukrainian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kuwait, according to a Saturday posting on the official Web site of the head of state.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada approved Tolkach's as candidate for the post on June 30, 2010.

Earlier Tolkach was attorney of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in Iraq and consul. Earlier he was head of the OSCE department at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
