The Ukrainian government has instructed the Crimean Council of Ministers, regional state administrations, and the Sevastopol city administration to postpone the opening of the hunting season for game birds due to high risk of wildfires.

Respective resolution No.1588-r of August 4, which was signed by Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, was posted on the government’s official Web site on Thursday.

The document also notes that the ban will be in effect until the Cabinet of Ministers takes a separate decision.
