The hot weather will continue in Ukraine, apart from in western regions, until late August, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Weather Forecasting Center Anatoliy Prokopenko told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.
"The heatwave will continue at least until August 18… The weather is rather changeable and changes are possible, but according to our calculations, we don’t see any particular changes until late August," he said.
He said that extremely high fire risks would remain in Ukraine, apart from in its western regions.
