Workers from the Ukrainian Emergency Ministry are continuing to help their Russian colleagues extinguish forest fires in Russia.

A composite detachment of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry’s main office in Luhansk region arrived in the village of Pukhovo, Liski district, Voronezh region on Aug. 5, and started battling a forest fire on an area of around 700 hectares. The detachment contained the wildfire on an area of about 50 hectares.

A composite detachment of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry’s main office in Kharkiv region arrived in the town of Novovoronezh in Voronezh region on the same day to monitor and extinguish several forest fires near Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant.
