Thunderstorms are expected to hit western and northern regions and Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions, with hail and strong winds of up to 15-20 meters per second expected in western regions of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported on Tuesday.
On August 11-15, hot weather with daytime temperatures of 35-39 decrees Celsius is forecast over most of Ukraine and in the capital, while in eastern, southern regions, and Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions temperatures of 40-42 degrees Celsius are expected.
The re will be more moderate temperatures only in western Ukraine, and on August 11-12 cooler weather will come to Vinnytsia region and most northern regions.
In addition, the Hydrometeorological center also forecasts 5th degree extreme fire danger in Ukraine, except for in western regions.
